Mike Holmes is going back to his roots rescuing homeowners from unscrupulous contractors, unhealthy homes and D.I.Y. projects gone wrong.  It’s a family affair as his daughter Sherry and son Michael, who share his passion for making it right for deserving families, are right by his side. Over 12 episodes, the Holmes’ will take on five houses, and turn them into homes again.

  • S1 - Episode 104

    "Can You Dig it?"

    Mike and the team start work on a third house that has been heated by a small gas fireplace for over 10 years. The home is crowned “The Toxic Townhouse” after a home inspection uncovers terrible toxic elements in the air and during the demo a dangerous pipe issue is found in the basement. Sherry buys an RV to prepare for her baby’s arrival. Meanwhile the exterior of The City Barn is almost complete and as the unexpected structural issues are solved, the team makes another disturbing discovery while digging the new footing in the basement.

  • S1 - Episode 103

    "Not a Dry Eye in the House"

    The Flood House is on its way to completion with the magnificent kitchen getting installed and new flood sensors mounted to prevent future water damage. But it is the showpiece gas fireplace with custom mantle made by Michael that brings homeowner Barb to tears. Over at The City Barn more structural issues are found causing Mike and the team to worry.

  • S1 - Episode 102

    "Holmes Divide and Conquer"

    Structural issues at both houses mean the Holmes’ have to divide and conquer. Michael tackles the roof and the major structural problems discovered at the back of The City Barn. While over at The Flood House, Mike finds some unsettling issues when taking down a load-bearing wall, revealing the cause of a dip in the floor that has worried homeowner Barb for a long time. Sherry meets with two apprentices to add to the crew.

  • S1 - Episode 101

    "Families Helping Families"

    Mike is going back to his roots and helping families in need with his kids Michael and Sherry. In the first home, The City Barn, the plan is to fix the weathered roof and make the house more accessible for thirteen-year-old Jake who is battling cancer. When the reno gets delayed due to unforeseen structural issues, the Homes’ begin a second job and find out how a little leak turned into a huge disaster and insurance nightmare for homeowners Bob and Barb.
