Day of the Dead

DAY OF THE DEAD is the intense story of six strangers trying to survive the first 24 hours of an undead invasion. This ode to Romero’s famous flesh-eaters reminds us that sometimes all it takes to bring people together is a horde of hungry zombies trying to rip them apart. Each season will take place over a single day, showing how the residents of a small town react when the dead begin to come back to life. But unlike most zombie tales, Day of the Dead isn’t the story of a crisis bringing out the worst in people. Instead it’s an ass-kicking adventure about how our differences become strengths and we band together, relying on each other when the world goes crazy around us. Produced by Abbott Street Films in association with Cartel Entertainment, showrunners are Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas who will also write. Matt Drake produces on behalf of Abbott Street Films, and Stan Spry, Jeff Holland, Drew Brown executive produce on behalf of Cartel Entertainment.
