Death on a Comet

Available on Discovery GO

On the heels of its most-watched special to date, JUPITER: CLOSE ENCOUNTER, and following-up on the November 2014 special LANDING ON A COMET: ROSETTA MISSION, Discovery brings viewers its latest real-time space odyssey, anchored by DAILY PLANET’s Dan Riskin. Rosetta, an ESA built spacecraft that took years to conceive and a decade to journey through space, has been living alongside its comet for the last two years. Now that mission comes to an end and the team that has poured years into this project must say goodbye. DEATH ON A COMET will take viewers inside the control room as Rosetta comes to the end of its six billion km journey and sends back a final postcard.
