TORONTO, ON (September 3, 2026) – The Crave Original series HEATED RIVALRY has cast Kevin Zegers (THE MADISON, Transamerica, GOSSIP GIRL) as Coach Wiebe, Paul Gross (Good Night, and Good Luck on Broadway; TALES OF THE CITY) as Commissioner Roger Crowell, and Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil, The Fifth Element) as Dr. Galina Molchalina for its upcoming season, scheduled to premiere in Spring 2027.

TORONTO, ON (September 2, 2026) – Crave announced today that Maddie Phillips (GEN V) is set to star opposite previously announced series lead Robbie G.K. (HEATED RIVALRY) in MEATBALLS, a raunchy, irreverent reimagining of the beloved 1979 Canadian comedy classic. Now in production in the Montréal area through October, the Crave Original puts a fresh, contemporary spin on the iconic comedy — with a new generation of counselors, campers, and plenty of bad decisions. The eight-episode, half-hour series is slated to premiere in 2027.

Phillips stars as Skipper, the head camp counselor and a modern take on the iconic character made famous by Bill Murray in the original film. She joins Robbie G.K., who stars as Dale, alongside newly announced supporting cast Mollie Guest (GANGNAM PROJECT), Jordan Kronis (CHUCKY), Molly Lewis (SURREALESTATE), Krista Nazaire (THE HARDY BOYS), Markus McNamara (Little Big Shot), and Lachlan Quarmby (HOPE VALLEY: 1874).

MEATBALLS is a coming-of-age-way-too-late story, that’s equal parts sweet and sexy. The series is set in a failing summer camp that, with a little hard work and a lot of good vibes, still has the potential to be the best place on earth for 200 lucky kids. Or, more importantly, for the counsellors who call it their home away from home, it’s the best place to pitch a tent.

MEATBALLS is produced by Blink49 Studios and Incendo, in partnership with Bell Media’s Crave, with the participation of the Canada Media Fund (CMF), and the Bell Fund.  Showrunners and Executive Producers are Jeff Detsky (THE BEAVERTON) and Wendy Litner (MY DEAD MOM). TORONTO (September 2, 2026) – CTV revealed today the new line up of Canadian home cooks entering the MASTERCHEF CANADA kitchen, as the original cooking competition series returns for Season 9, airing Tuesdays at 7 p.m. ET/PT on CTV beginning September 22 and streaming next day on Crave. Featuring a special appearance from world-renowned chef and MASTERCHEF judge Gordon Ramsay, the 11-episode season features 16 Canadian home cooks vying for a chance to win the $100,000 cash prize and life-changing title of MasterChef Canada champion. Each week, the cooks’ culinary aspirations are put to the test as they face off in a series of high pressure and precision focused challenges, while they try to avoid getting burnt by elimination. 

The new group of home cooks will be mentored, praised, and sometimes grilled by returning judges – Canadian Screen Award-winning host and Season 3 winner, Mary Berg, internationally acclaimed chef and author Hugh Acheson, and chef-restaurateur Craig Wong.

Only those who impress the judges will advance to the Top 12.

TORONTO (September 1, 2026) – ETALK enters its milestone 25th season this fall, celebrating more than two decades of bringing Canadians closer to the stars, stories, and cultural moments shaping entertainment. Season 25 of ETALK premieres Thursday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. ET on CTV and streams on Crave through the live CTV channel. 

 Since its launch in 2002, ETALK has championed Canadian talent while delivering access to some of the world’s biggest names and moments across film, television, music, and pop culture. Today, ETALK’s social reach brings that distinctly Canadian perspective to audiences around the world.  

 As ETALK enters Season 25, the focus is firmly on what comes next. New episodes of YOUTH streams Sundays at 10 p.m. ET.



September 20 – AMERICAN HOSTAGE *Series Premiere* 

 	AMERICAN HOSTAGE is a high-stakes anthology series, starring and executive produced by Emmy Award winner Jon Hamm. Based on the acclaimed first season of the scripted podcast of the same name, the series is a psychological thriller set in the 1970s inspired by the harrowing true story of an Indianapolis radio reporter Fred Heckman (Hamm), who is thrust into the middle of a life-or-death crisis when hostage-taker, Tony Kiritsis (Giovanni Ribisi), demands to be interviewed on his popular radio news program. AMERICAN HOSTAGE debuts on Sunday, Sept. 20 with two episodes, followed by one new episode streaming on subsequent Sundays.



September 18 – JAŸ-Z IN 8 * (Documentary Premiere)

 	30 years after his landmark debut album “Reasonable Doubt,” artist, icon, philanthropist, entrepreneur JAŸ-Z sits down with longtime friend, producer, and director Rick Rubin for an intimate reflection on his storied career, revisiting the music together and unpacking his work and life through a shared listening and illuminating conversation. Featuring many of JAŸ-Z’s iconic tracks and album cuts, including “99 Problems,” “Brooklyn’s Finest,” and “4:44,” the eight-episode series offers a deeply revealing portrait of the artist and his work, exploring the influences and inspiration that shaped both the man and his music. JAŸ-Z IN 8 streams two new episodes Fridays on Crave.

September 18 – Starz Original OUTLANDER: BLOOD OF MY BLOOD *Season Premiere* 

 	After an unexpected journey back in time left Henry (Jeremy Irvine) and Julia (Hermione Corfield) Beauchamp lost and separated in the sweeping highlands of 18th century Scotland, Season One culminated with the two finally reuniting at the standing stones of Craigh na Dun, hoping to return to their own time and their young daughter, Claire. Season Two picks up at that moment and reveals a distraught Julia alone with their baby. Separated from his love and hope, Henry must grapple with his mental health, as he fights to find his way back to her. Meanwhile, the forbidden relationship between Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) and Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) seemed to conquer all odds, but their romantic escape was cut short as fiery crosses were lit and the 1715 Jacobite Rising began, thrusting the clans into war.  	After being dumped by her long-term girlfriend, Coach Joanne Pico (Jess Salgueiro) is dead set on taking her loser slo pitch team all the way to the beer league championships. Her ex has joined another team in the league, so this year, it’s personal. The stakes have never been higher for Joanne and her beloved band of unruly misfits. Throughout the season, the team must contend with traitorous exes, sexy carwashes gone wrong, depressed rental clowns, and love affairs with team sponsors. August 28 – Crave Original FOOL ME ONCE *Docuseries Premiere* 

 	FOOL ME ONCE is a four-part one-hour investigative docuseries about Marcel André Vautour, a prolific Canadian con artist whose two-decade trail of deception left heartbreak and financial ruin across continents. Charming, elusive, and addicted to control, Marcel operated an evolving network of romance, business, immigration, and medical scams that defrauded victims of more than a million dollars. The series follows three women, Kym, Jodi, and Andréa, each drawn into a relationship that ended in betrayal. Believing they were alone, they found one another online and turned grief into action, launching a grassroots investigation that exposed the scale of Marcel’s crimes and the systemic failures that allowed him to continue. As their pursuit widens, new victims and scams surface, revealing a criminal pattern that transcends borders, genders, and decades. What begins as a personal reckoning becomes a broader exposé of manipulation, accountability, and survival. All four parts drop on Friday, August 28.

TORONTO (August 26, 2026) – Batter up! Crave announced today that its much-anticipated original comedy series SLO PITCH, premieres with two episodes on Friday, Sept. 25.  Served up in outrageous mockumentary style, the series follows the Brovaries - a lovable, queer, beer league softball team, determined to defy the odds in pursuit of a championship season. Throughout 10 episodes, SLO PITCH delivers heartfelt friendships and unapologetic queer joy, through a unique Canadian lens. The series follows a weekly release schedule, with two episodes dropping each Friday.

Also announced today, the series has been acquired by Sky in the UK and Ireland, Sky New Zealand, and HBO Max in Australia, through distribution agreements secured by Sphere Abacus, a Bell Media company.

Based on the acclaimed 2020 short-form series of the same name, SLO PITCH is created by J Stevens, Karen Knox, and Gwenlyn Cumyn, and is produced by Shaftesbury in association with Crave, Boss &amp; Co, and PAGEBOY Productions. The series marks Bell Media’s first project with PAGEBOY Productions following the announcement of a co-development deal last year.

At the heart of SLO PITCH is Coach Joanne Pico (Jess Salgueiro), whose season takes an unexpected turn after being dumped by her long-time girlfriend—who promptly joins a rival team. Determined to prove everyone wrong, Joanne is more committed than ever to leading the Brovaries to the beer league championships. Along the way, the team navigates a season filled with rivalries, unexpected romances, sponsorship drama, outrageous fundraising efforts, and plenty of post-game beers, discovering that community and friendship matter just as much as winning.

Starring alongside Salgueiro is Karen Knox as Boris, Gwenlyn Cumyn as Ann, Chelsea Muirhead as Sasha, Emma Hunter as Barb, Lane Webber as Lee, Khadijah Roberts-Abdullah as Zari, Amanda Cordner as Mel, and Emily Hampshire as Leanne.

Guest stars include actors Varun Saranga, Laura De Carteret, Donald MacLean Jr., Nadine Bhabha (who is also a writer on the series) and comedians Carolyn Taylor, Chris Locke and Chris Sandiford, plus a cameo from Japanese softball pitcher Ayami Sato, who made history as the first woman to play in a Canadian men’s professional baseball league.

TORONTO, ON (August 25, 2026) – The cast for the second season of the award-winning Crave Original HEATED RIVALRY continues to expand with Daniel Diemer (PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS, The Half of It) set to star as Ryan Price, and Shaheen Jafargholi (WAR, THE AGENCY, LOST BOYS AND FAIRIES) as Fabian Salah.
