TORONTO (May 21, 2026) – Bell Media today announced a strategic agreement with TELUS to expand its Connected TV live advertising capabilities, enabling new inventory across TSN, CTV, and leading English-language specialty channels on the TELUS TV+ platform. The agreement extends Bell Media’s Connected TV Live into Western Canada, including live sports, and delivering national scale for advertisers and enhancing the viewing experience for Canadians.  

Building on its industry-leading launch of Addressable TV in 2023, Bell Media continues to evolve its live Connected TV offering with expanded inventory, enhanced capabilities, and broader distribution beyond the Bell Fibe footprint.

This milestone marks the first agreement between a Canadian broadcaster and broadcast distributor to bring live linear ad replacement to market. The launch represents a significant step forward for the Canadian media ecosystem, enabling improved monetization opportunities, greater advertising precision, and a more personalized viewing experience.

Through TELUS, Bell Media’s live Connected TV inventory now reaches households across Alberta and British Columbia, complementing its established footprint in Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada. 

The expanded offering leverages advertising technology and streaming delivery capabilities, combining the strengths of Bell Media, TELUS, and leading advertising technology platforms. Key features include seamless ad insertion within live streams, contextual and audience-based targeting, real-time campaign reporting, and full programmatic activation across major demand-side platforms (DSPs).

Bell Media will continue to explore opportunities to expand these capabilities to additional broadcasters and distributors across Canada, further advancing innovation in the Canada’s streaming and advertising landscape.

Toronto, Canada (May 17, 2026) – Sony Pictures Television (SPT) and Bell Media today announced the new Crave Original drama series, I'M NOT HERE TO HURT YOU, created by David Shore &amp; Freddie Highmore, and starring Highmore in the leading role. Produced by Blink49 Studios, the series is the first co-commission by SPT and Bell Media, with SPT distributing the series in the United States and internationally.

In I'M NOT HERE TO HURT YOU, after killing someone in a bicycle accident, an upstanding family man spirals into a life of crime… driven by the noble but futile goal of never hurting anyone ever again. The show is inspired by the true story of the man who became known as “Ireland’s most polite bank robber,” and The Irish Independent podcast of the same name.

TORONTO (May 13, 2026) – Revelry and renovations reign once again in Season 2 of the CTV Original docuseries QUEEN OF THE CASTLE as the full season drops on Crave, Friday, May 29.  The series also airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV Life Channel beginning June 3.  

The 10-episode, hour-long lifestyle series follows Ann Kaplan Mulholland, who returns to rule her ever-expanding and ambitious plan of transforming a historic medieval castle in Kent, England, into a luxurious, world-class destination fit for modern royalty – this time with bigger events, bolder ideas, and even more pressure, as renovations, new businesses, and extravagant celebrations collide. 

Following an inaugural season filled with sweeping renovations, lavish weddings, and the debut of the castle’s bar and bistro, Ann’s vision only grows more ambitious as she sets her sights on expanding her queendom. In Season 2, no turret is left unturned, as Ann hosts opulent wellness retreats and high-fashion spectacles, all while steering Lympne Castle toward its ultimate coronation as a fully realized luxury hotel. But ruling a castle is no small feat. Behind the grandeur lies a court of dedicated staff navigating tight timelines, shifting priorities, and Ann’s ever-expanding decree of ideas. On the Season 2 premiere of QUEEN OF THE CASTLE, “Rosé Rodeo”, as heritage council delays stall major renovations at Lympne Castle, Ann throws her energy into bold new décor − from custom carpets woven with the castle’s coat of arms to lavish drapery fit for royalty. With the first big event of summer on the line, Ann and her team race to deliver a one-of-a-kind “Rosé Rodeo” birthday celebration complete with wall-to-wall pink decor, a mechanical bull, and cowboy-inspired flair. Between Chef Tony’s high-stakes debut in the kitchen and Ann’s constant surprises, the castle staff have their work cut out for them to deliver an epic event for a group of wild ladies.

TORONTO (May 11, 2026) – Stars are trading green rooms for green pastures in the all-new Crave Original series, THE TOM GREEN FARM, which offers a fresh approach to the talk format away from the typical desk and couch. Hosted by beloved Canadian comedian, actor, and filmmaker Tom Green, the 10-episode, hour long unscripted series launches May 29 with the first two episodes followed by two all-new episodes released every Friday.

Produced by Tom Green Productions Canada Inc. in association with Crave, THE TOM GREEN FARM blends candid celebrity interviews with the humour, unpredictability, and charm of country living. Set against the backdrop of Green's traditional farmhouse built in 1857 on a sprawling 150-acre lot in rural Ontario, the series invites guests into an unfiltered, immersive experience where conversations unfold alongside hay bales, livestock, and farm-inspired chaos.

Beyond the celebrity interviews, THE TOM GREEN FARM also offers a comedic and surprisingly personal look at Tom’s new life on a rural Canadian farm. Alongside his wife Amanda, Tom navigates the day-to-day realities of country living, caring for horses, a mule, a donkey, chickens, guinea hens, and the endless, often unpredictable challenges that come with running a farm. Viewers also reconnect with Tom’s beloved parents, who now hilariously turn the tables on him, reversing the dynamic from his MTV days when they were often the targets of his pranks. On the series premiere, Tom’s mother Mary Jane and wife Amanda push him with a not-so-subtle message: to renovate the dated kitchen. Meanwhile, outside, a massive 12-foot vert ramp is rising from the pasture — a surprise build for skate legends Tony Hawk and Kevin Staab. As the crew races to finish construction, Tom introduces viewers to the farm, including Fanny the mule, Kiah the donkey, and horses Alora and Aria. When Tony and Kevin arrive, they sit down with Tom to reflect on the early outlaw days of skateboarding, and how the sport evolved into a global phenomenon. Then, with neighbours gathered and cameras rolling, the newly built 12-foot vert ramp comes alive.

Episode 2 begins at sunrise with Tom tending to the farm and proudly showing his parents and fiancée Amanda the solar-powered podcast studio he’s built in the barn loft, before welcoming world-renowned drag superstar Priyanka (CANADA’S DRAG RACE: ALL STARS, DRAG BRUNCH SAVED MY LIFE) — who dives headfirst into farm life with canoeing, and an attempt to drive a tractor. She also delivers Tom’s first-ever Tarot card reading. It’s mystical. It’s chaotic. It’s farm chic. Later, Michael Cera drops by from a nearby film set, where he’s directing a project starring Pamela Anderson and Steve Coogan. While feeding apples to the livestock, Tom and Michael talk filmmaking, creative risk, and working close to home. The episode closes on a heartfelt reunion between Tom and his yearling foal Aria, after six months apart as she was being weaned on a nearby farm.

Crave also announced today that viewers will be treated to a number of digital extras for the series. Crave’s YouTube&#x2122; channel (@CraveCanada) will roll out companion videos throughout the season, providing fans with a social extension of the series featuring unforgettable moments with Tom and his guests. The social and digital content takes viewers inside key moments on the farm and includes extended interviews – offering a window into the farm for Tom’s vibrant YouTube&#x2122; community.

Expanding on the unique blend of candid conversation and rural charm, it was also announced today the brand-new original podcast THE TOM GREEN FARMCAST, launching on iHeartRadio Canada and everywhere podcasts are found. Hosted by Tom Green, the weekly podcast dropping May 29 is an audio and video companion that dives deeper into the offbeat world of the farm, offering extended conversations with Tom and his guests, behind-the-scenes stories from the production, and Green's signature comedic take on everything from country living to the entertainment industry. Listeners can expect the same unfiltered honesty and hilarious anecdotes, perhaps with even more hay bale-related mishaps and animal sound effects, as Tom continues to explore life, comedy, and connection from his Ontario farmhouse.

TORONTO (May 11, 2026) — Bell Media announced today an initiative to transform its most extensive media archives into a digital-first content ecosystem, unlocking decades of Canadian cultural history through advanced technology, innovative distribution, and creative storytelling. YouTube becomes the primary home for the revitalized legacy content available to audiences in Canada and around the world.

Spanning an estimated 300,000 to 400,000 physical tapes dating back to the early 1960s, the Bell Media archive represents a rich record of Canadian news, music, and entertainment. Through a large-scale digitization effort, Bell Media will convert more than 100,000 tapes by the end of 2026, preserving and reactivating legacy content for modern audiences.

This "hidden history" is being unlocked using Google’s Gemini models, to generate metadata which allows Bell Media to instantly search and categorize thousands of hours of footage, turning a static warehouse into a searchable global resource. Bell Media is also evaluating AI-enabled partnerships to support automated clipping and publishing, accelerating how preserved content is surfaced and shared globally.
A Global Digital Library on YouTube
Bell Media is curating its library into specialized digital destinations:

 	MuchRewind: Launched as a "digital time machine," this YouTube channel brings high-definition, raw interviews from MuchMusic’s golden era back to the public. Music fans can now rediscover candid moments with icons like Madonna, Britney Spears, Missy Elliott, Eminem, and the late Aaliyah in a quality that surpasses the original broadcasts.
 	Legacy Revived: The extensive archive of Canada’s most-watched newsmagazine, W5, is being introduced to global audiences for the first time through dedicated YouTube hubs, proving the enduring relevance of Canadian storytelling. To further highlight the enduring legacy of Canadian programming, Etalk will be making its 25-year archive available on its YouTube channel
 	Cultural Restoration: Beyond entertainment, the archive is supporting high-profile external documentaries, including an upcoming HBO project by QUESTLOVE and the ROCK &amp; ROLL HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY, providing the world with a window into Canada's unique media heritage.

MAY 7 – Crave Original BON COP, BAD COP *Series Premiere* 

 	In BON COP, BAD COP, David (Patrick Huard) and Martin (Henry Czerny) team up for an investigation that takes them across Canada after the band chief of an Indigenous community in Gaspésie (Nathaniel Arcand) mysteriously disappears. They are joined by a new cadre of cops who are just as unorthodox as they are: Gabrielle (Sarah-Jeanne Labrosse), David’s daughter, who has her father’s stubborn streak; Joe (Joshua Wayne George Odjick), an intrepid Micmac police officer from Gesgapegiag; and Kim (Christine Beaulieu), a Sureté du Québec lieutenant who is generally skeptical of David’s methods. Episodes 1 and 2 drop on Thursday, May 7 with subsequent episodes streaming on Thursdays.

TORONTO, May 5, 2026 – The Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) and Bell Media today announced a historic multiyear agreement to broadcast and stream WNBA games in Canada beginning with the upcoming 2026 season.  

As part of the agreement, Bell Media becomes the official media partner of the Toronto Tempo, as TSN delivers comprehensive live coverage of the team, additional regular-season matchups from across the league, and the vast majority of marquee events such as WNBA All-Star, WNBA Playoffs, WNBA Finals, and WNBA Draft. A select number of Tempo games will also air on CTV and stream on Crave through the live CTV channel, with the schedule to be announced later this season.

Canadian viewership of the 2026 WNBA Draft (April 13) on TSN was up 172% vs. the 2025 WNBA Draft. The WNBA has hosted two sold-out preseason games (Toronto, 2023 and Edmonton, 2024) and hosted the first regular season game held outside of the U.S. (Vancouver, 2025). Canada is home to the first WNBA team based outside the U.S., the Toronto Tempo, tipping on Friday, May 8th. Prime Video’s slate of Tempo and additional WNBA games available in Canada were previously announced.
