TORONTO (April 7, 2026) – Longtime BNN Bloomberg anchor Andrew Bell announced today his decision to retire. The announcement comes following a remarkable career in journalism that has spanned 44 years, including 25 years with BNN Bloomberg. Bell’s final broadcast is Thursday, April 30. 

“The past 25 years have been the happiest of my life. I still can’t believe I get paid to discuss fascinating topics with people who know infinitely more than me,” said Bell. “It’s been a wild ride, including the tech selloff at the start of the century, the abyss of the global financial crisis, the shock when income trusts were torpedoed, and the current stunning advent of AI. I’m so grateful to our dedicated viewers and my talented colleagues, and though I’ve made the decision to say goodbye, I will continue to follow my beloved crude oil, copper, corn, and cobalt, and I’ll have BNN Bloomberg running on the TV in the kitchen. Now it’s on to pursuing my next goal: playing King Lear at Stratford.”

A native of Dublin, Ireland, Bell worked as an investment reporter and editor with The Globe and Mail prior to joining BNN Bloomberg in 2001. 

As the host of BNN Bloomberg’s COMMODITIES, Bell is a specialist on everything drilled, grown, and dug out of the ground. He is known for delivering straightforward, well-researched assessments on the trending stocks of the day, and for taking audiences through the detailed numbers while asking experts the tough questions.

OTTAWA (April 2, 2026) – The Ottawa Senators and Bell Media announced today a new long-term rights extension ensuring regional Ottawa Senators games continue to be available on TSN and RDS. As part of the renewed partnership, TSN Radio 1200 remains the exclusive English-radio partner of the Ottawa Senators, delivering live coverage of games as well as insight and analysis on the team. Ottawa Senators regional matchups are available to viewers located in the team’s designated broadcast region, and stream live through the network’s digital platforms.

TORONTO (April 2, 2026) – Canadian sports broadcasting icon Vic Rauter today announced his retirement following a distinguished career that has spanned 53 years.

This week, Rauter continues to lead TSN’s live coverage of the LGT WORLD MEN’S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP, culminating with his final broadcast, the tournament’s Gold Medal Game, airing live this Saturday, April 4 at 4 p.m. ET on TSN, TSN.ca, and the TSN app.

About Vic Rauter
Best known as the voice of curling in Canada and around the world, Vic Rauter has anchored TSN’s curling coverage for more than 40 years. Rauter has provided the play-by-play commentary for TSN’s acclaimed coverage of Season of Champions curling, including events such as the MONTANA’S BRIER, SCOTTIES TOURNAMENT OF HEARTS, and the Women’s and Men’s World Curling Championships, for which he was recognized with nominations for both the Gemini and Canadian Screen Awards.

Raised in Toronto, Rauter began his broadcasting career in February 1973 at CFTR Radio as a news and sports reporter, before joining Toronto’s Global Television Network, followed by the CBC.

Rauter joined TSN in September 1985, and has since made contributions to nearly every live sporting event on the network, including coverage of MLS, NHL, MLB (including the Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Expos), Formula 1, figure skating, bowling, cricket, equestrian, and more.

A veteran of nine Olympic Games, Rauter first worked on the 1984 Summer Games in Los Angeles, followed by Calgary 1988, Barcelona 1992, Sydney 2000, Salt Lake City 2002, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, Vancouver 2010, and London 2012.

Rauter has also been a key player in TSN’s soccer coverage since 1986, providing commentary for the network’s coverage of the FIFA WORLD CUP in 1986, 1990, 1994, 1998, 2002, and 2006.

Rauter’s decades-long association with Special Olympics began in the mid-1970s, and he has since volunteered with the organization to lead live coverage of telethons, host fundraisers, and participate in events for the Special Olympics Canada Champions Network.

TORONTO (March 24, 2026) – Season 3 of the half-hour Crave Original dramedy series LATE BLOOMER takes root with a two-episode premiere on Friday, April 24. Created by and starring Jasmeet Raina, the series follows Jasmeet Dutta (Raina) a 30-something Punjabi Canadian trying to get his life together. The eight-episode season follows a weekly release schedule, with new episodes streaming Fridays. 

After closing a chapter on his last relationship, Season 3 sees Jasmeet turn the page with new heights in his career, including starring in his first film, entering the livestream world, and growing a dedicated fandom. But as he battles the pressures of his career, he struggles to maintain his relationships with his friends and family. 

Returning cast alongside Raina this season include: Baljinder Singh Atwal (DES PARDES); Sandeep Bali; Ashley Ganger (GRAND ARMY); Sugenja Sri (THE HANDMAID’S TALE); Ahamed Weinberg (INSECURE); Sachin Mahashi; and Sukhman Gill. Joining the cast are Usha Kiran Uppal as Gurdeep's stern mother Dadi; Amit Aujila as Jasmeet’s manager Navi; Megha Sandhu (PAINKILLER) as Jasmeet’s long-lost friend Maya; and TikTok content creator Prayag Mishra who plays the fast-rising social media star – and Jasmeet’s worst nightmare – Prem.

TORONTO (March 18, 2026) – Crave today announced that Sky has acquired YAGA for the United Kingdom and Ireland through a deal secured by Sphere Abacus. The announcement comes as Sky showcases the series – Crave’s first, half-hour, original drama series – as part of its “Up Next” presentation today in London. Additional territory announcements are expected to follow in the coming weeks.

“YAGA is exactly the kind of bold, genre-defying storytelling that travels,” said Justin Stockman, Vice President, Content Development &amp; Programming, Bell Media. “Sky’s decision to bring this series to audiences in the UK and Ireland speaks to the universal appeal of Kat Sandler’s vision and the exceptional work of our cast and creative team. Based on the hit play by Kat Sandler, who also serves as writer and showrunner, the Crave Original series reimagines the myth of Baba Yaga as a contemporary mystery thriller set in a small coastal town. Produced by Front Street Pictures and Blink49 Studios in partnership with Crave, YAGA is co-directed by David Frazee and Rachel Talalay. The series is executive produced by Mackenzie Donaldson, Andrew Miller, and Carrie-Anne Moss, and produced by Charles Cooper.

YAGA follows Rapp (Noah Reid), a private investigator who arrives in a small coastal town to investigate the disappearance of a young heir to a powerful fishery, Henry Park (Hudson Williams). He finds himself at odds with an apprehensive local detective, Carson (Clark Backo), a charismatic university professor with a taste for younger men, Katherine (Carrie-Anne Moss), and a labyrinth of enigmatic suspects, secret lives, and ancient magic.

Distributed internationally by Sphere Abacus, YAGA will be available as either four one-hour episodes, or eight half-hour episodes on Sky and other international broadcasters.

The Sky deal follows Bell Media’s recent international sales momentum, including a set of deals for HEATED RIVALRY, the hockey-romance series that has become a worldwide sensation.

MARCH 20 – Crave Original Series THE TRADES *Season 3 Premiere* 

 	THE TRADES centres around Todd “Goldenarm” Stool (Robb Wells, TRAILER PARK BOYS), a pipefitter from a working-class background. After successfully unionizing Conch to overturn Jenn Conch’s (Jennifer Irwin, SUPERSTORE) scheme to save money in Season 2, Todd’s officially the General Foreman. This season, he walks the thin line between friend and boss. Meanwhile, Audrey (Anastasia Phillips, MOONSHINE) is secretly hooking up with Backwoods (Daniel Petronijevic, LETTERKENNY). It’s actually not so-secretly: everyone knows, except Todd! Chelsea (Jennifer Spence, YOU ME HER), beloved site manager, faces an uncomfortable truth–as long as Jenn Conch is in the picture, her biggest job is “nepo babysitter”–not exactly a career woman’s dream. Yes, Jenn Conch has returned to Imperial Valley and is all about fitting in, with non-traditional policies and unhinged antics. The crew balances the pressures of work with enough chaos, pranks and name-calling to offend for fun.  	SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE UK, the British adaptation of the late-night franchise that has shaped comedy and pop culture for more than five decades, makes it highly anticipated debut with special host Tina Fey, followed by Jamie Dornan and Riz Ahmed in the weeks ahead. This is the first-ever UK version of the legendary format, bringing the show’s signature live, fast-paced energy to British audiences, and follows the same beloved structure as the original, introducing a new generation of comedy players in a core cast, alongside a rotating slate of guest hosts, and live musical performances.
