TORONTO (September 1, 2026) – ETALK enters its milestone 25th season this fall, celebrating more than two decades of bringing Canadians closer to the stars, stories, and cultural moments shaping entertainment. Season 25 of ETALK premieres Thursday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. ET on CTV and streams on Crave through the live CTV channel. 

 Since its launch in 2002, ETALK has championed Canadian talent while delivering access to some of the world’s biggest names and moments across film, television, music, and pop culture. Today, ETALK’s social reach brings that distinctly Canadian perspective to audiences around the world.  

 As ETALK enters Season 25, the focus is firmly on what comes next. Alongside its daily broadcast, ETALK continues to grow across Crave, YouTube, digital, and social, while expanding into longer-form interviews, premium specials, fan experiences, and cultural events. This evolution gives ETALK more ways to connect audiences with major entertainment franchises and Canadian talent.

 The celebratory season of ETALK launches in style with the show’s highly anticipated annual coverage of the Toronto International Film Festival. This year, the excitement is amplified as poppi joins as the official partner for two of ETALK’s festival tentpoles. The ETALK x poppi Lounge hosts exclusive and intimate conversations with filmmakers, actors, creators, and cultural voices throughout the festival. In addition, poppi and ETALK also team up to host the ETALK x poppi Film Festival Kickoff Party, bringing together talent, creators, media, and industry leaders to celebrate the start of the festival. 

 Throughout the season, ETALK continues its coverage of the entertainment industry's biggest events, including the 78th EMMY AWARDS® this September, and the return of ETALK AFTER THE OSCARS® in 2027. ETALK delivers exclusive interviews, red carpet access, and behind-the-scenes coverage from Hollywood's most celebrated nights. 

 Turning the spotlight to buzzworthy content this fall, ETALK features the upcoming Crave Original series, YAGA, in a new 30-minute special available across all platforms in October. Stars Noah Reid, Clark Backo, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Hudson Williams sit down for an in-depth conversation with ETALK senior correspondent Lainey Lui, diving into the characters, creative vision, and behind-the-scenes making of the show.  

 Stepping beyond the television screen, ETALK also unlocks a rich digital archive that spans more than two decades of pop culture history. TORONTO (August 31, 2026) – Celebrating a quarter-century as Canada’s #1 conventional network, CTV is kicking off Fall 2026 with a powerful line up of buzzy new series, major franchise extensions, returning fan-favourites, world-renowned live sports and entertainment events, and news coverage Canadians trust. It’s a must-see primetime lineup that reinforces CTV’s position as Canada’s premier entertainment destination. CTV’s full fall schedule streams next day on Crave.

Highlights of CTV’s fall schedule includes:

New Series

 	New to CTV this fall are THE TRAITORS: NEW BLOOD (Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT, beginning Sept. 17) the civilian-led incarnation of the Emmy-award winning phenomenon hosted by Alan Cumming, breakout medical drama DOC (Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET, beginning Sept. 22), starring Canadian lead Molly Parker, and S.W.A.T. EXILES (Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT, beginning Oct. 2), the action-packed spinoff of the hit franchise starring Shemar Moore.

Returning Hits

 	CTV remained the most-watched conventional station in primetime among the key A25-54 demo and sees the return of THE TRAITORS CANADA, hosted by Karine Vanasse, (Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, beginning Sept.  21), alongside a new season of fall’s most-watched Canadian unscripted series MASTERCHEF CANADA featuring judges Mary Berg, Hugh Acheson, and Craig Wong (Tuesdays at 7 p.m. ET/PT, beginning Sept. 22), and last fall’s top new series 9-1-1: NASHVILLE (Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT, beginning Oct. 15).
 	Packed with star power, returning fan favourites include R.J. DECKER starring Scott Speedman (Sept. 15); BEST MEDICINE starring Josh Charles (Sept. 22), SCRUBS featuring Zach Braff, Donald Faison, and Sarah Chalke (Sept. 30); Justin Hartley’s TRACKER (Oct. 5); BOSTON BLUE with Donnie Wahlberg and Sonequa Martin-Green (Oct. 9), and more.

Sports and Live Events

 	Bell Media platforms remain the exclusive television broadcast partners of the NFL in Canada. Beginning September 9 with an epic showdown between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots, TSN, CTV, and Crave deliver wall-to-wall NFL action with MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, and SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, along with the NFL Playoffs and SUPER BOWL LXI on February 14. Back on home turf, the CFL continues on TSN, CTV, and Crave with regular season action, playoff matchups beginning October 31, and culminating with Canada’s largest annual single-day sporting event – the 113th GREY CUP, live from Calgary on November 15.
 	CTV remains the destination for star-studded award shows, kicking off with the 78th EMMY® AWARDS (Monday, Sept. 14 on CTV) followed by country music’s biggest nights with the CANADIAN COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS (Saturday, Sept. 19) and the 60th CMA AWARDS (Wednesday, Nov. 18).

September 1 – Crave Original REBUILD: INSIDE THE MONTREAL CANADIENS *Season 3 Premiere*

 	The Montreal Canadiens are entering a new chapter, and the expectations have never been higher. As a new generation takes center stage, the team battles injuries, goaltending questions, and the relentless pressure of one of hockey's most passionate fan bases. Along the way, breakout performances create unforgettable moments and add new names to the Canadiens' storied legacy. From opening night to an unforgettable playoff run, go behind the scenes to experience the emotion, commitment, and sacrifices behind Montreal's return as one of the NHL's top teams. September 20 – HBO Original YOUTH *Series Premiere* 

 	From Sharon Horgan the creator of CATASTROPHE and BAD SISTERS, HBO original drama YOUTH follows a 50-year-old divorcée’s (Horgan) search for sex and love, whilst juggling caring for her elderly parents and parenting her should-be grown-up son. New episodes of YOUTH streams Sundays at 10 p.m. ET.



September 20 – AMERICAN HOSTAGE *Series Premiere* 

 	AMERICAN HOSTAGE is a high-stakes anthology series, starring and executive produced by Emmy Award winner Jon Hamm. Based on the acclaimed first season of the scripted podcast of the same name, the series is a psychological thriller set in the 1970s inspired by the harrowing true story of an Indianapolis radio reporter Fred Heckman (Hamm), who is thrust into the middle of a life-or-death crisis when hostage-taker, Tony Kiritsis (Giovanni Ribisi), demands to be interviewed on his popular radio news program. AMERICAN HOSTAGE debuts on Sunday, Sept. 20 with two episodes, followed by one new episode streaming on subsequent Sundays.



September 18 – JAŸ-Z IN 8 * (Documentary Premiere)

 	30 years after his landmark debut album “Reasonable Doubt,” artist, icon, philanthropist, entrepreneur JAŸ-Z sits down with longtime friend, producer, and director Rick Rubin for an intimate reflection on his storied career, revisiting the music together and unpacking his work and life through a shared listening and illuminating conversation. Featuring many of JAŸ-Z’s iconic tracks and album cuts, including “99 Problems,” “Brooklyn’s Finest,” and “4:44,” the eight-episode series offers a deeply revealing portrait of the artist and his work, exploring the influences and inspiration that shaped both the man and his music. JAŸ-Z IN 8 streams two new episodes Fridays on Crave.

September 18 – Starz Original OUTLANDER: BLOOD OF MY BLOOD *Season Premiere* 

 	After an unexpected journey back in time left Henry (Jeremy Irvine) and Julia (Hermione Corfield) Beauchamp lost and separated in the sweeping highlands of 18th century Scotland, Season One culminated with the two finally reuniting at the standing stones of Craigh na Dun, hoping to return to their own time and their young daughter, Claire. Season Two picks up at that moment and reveals a distraught Julia alone with their baby. Separated from his love and hope, Henry must grapple with his mental health, as he fights to find his way back to her. Meanwhile, the forbidden relationship between Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) and Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) seemed to conquer all odds, but their romantic escape was cut short as fiery crosses were lit and the 1715 Jacobite Rising began, thrusting the clans into war.  	After being dumped by her long-term girlfriend, Coach Joanne Pico (Jess Salgueiro) is dead set on taking her loser slo pitch team all the way to the beer league championships. Her ex has joined another team in the league, so this year, it’s personal. The stakes have never been higher for Joanne and her beloved band of unruly misfits. Throughout the season, the team must contend with traitorous exes, sexy carwashes gone wrong, depressed rental clowns, and love affairs with team sponsors. The Brovaries galvanize around their coach, reminding themselves of what brought this unlikely group of people together in the first place; community, fun, and of course, beer! August 28 – Crave Original FOOL ME ONCE *Docuseries Premiere* 

 	FOOL ME ONCE is a four-part one-hour investigative docuseries about Marcel André Vautour, a prolific Canadian con artist whose two-decade trail of deception left heartbreak and financial ruin across continents. Charming, elusive, and addicted to control, Marcel operated an evolving network of romance, business, immigration, and medical scams that defrauded victims of more than a million dollars. The series follows three women, Kym, Jodi, and Andréa, each drawn into a relationship that ended in betrayal. Believing they were alone, they found one another online and turned grief into action, launching a grassroots investigation that exposed the scale of Marcel’s crimes and the systemic failures that allowed him to continue. As their pursuit widens, new victims and scams surface, revealing a criminal pattern that transcends borders, genders, and decades. What begins as a personal reckoning becomes a broader exposé of manipulation, accountability, and survival. All four parts drop on Friday, August 28.

 	The Montreal Canadiens are back in the playoffs for the second consecutive year with a clear objective: to extend their run and continue their progress. In Season 3, and across six new episodes, viewers once again gain unprecedented access to the heart of the Canadiens’ dressing room, following the development of the team’s young stars alongside its veteran leaders. The first two episodes premiere September 1, followed by one episode on subsequent weeks.

TORONTO (August 26, 2026) – Batter up! Crave announced today that its much-anticipated original comedy series SLO PITCH, premieres with two episodes on Friday, Sept. 25.  Served up in outrageous mockumentary style, the series follows the Brovaries - a lovable, queer, beer league softball team, determined to defy the odds in pursuit of a championship season. Throughout 10 episodes, SLO PITCH delivers heartfelt friendships and unapologetic queer joy, through a unique Canadian lens. The series follows a weekly release schedule, with two episodes dropping each Friday.

Also announced today, the series has been acquired by Sky in the UK and Ireland, Sky New Zealand, and HBO Max in Australia, through distribution agreements secured by Sphere Abacus, a Bell Media company.

Based on the acclaimed 2020 short-form series of the same name, SLO PITCH is created by J Stevens, Karen Knox, and Gwenlyn Cumyn, and is produced by Shaftesbury in association with Crave, Boss &amp; Co, and PAGEBOY Productions. The series marks Bell Media’s first project with PAGEBOY Productions following the announcement of a co-development deal last year.

At the heart of SLO PITCH is Coach Joanne Pico (Jess Salgueiro), whose season takes an unexpected turn after being dumped by her long-time girlfriend—who promptly joins a rival team. Determined to prove everyone wrong, Joanne is more committed than ever to leading the Brovaries to the beer league championships. Along the way, the team navigates a season filled with rivalries, unexpected romances, sponsorship drama, outrageous fundraising efforts, and plenty of post-game beers, discovering that community and friendship matter just as much as winning.

Starring alongside Salgueiro is Karen Knox as Boris, Gwenlyn Cumyn as Ann, Chelsea Muirhead as Sasha, Emma Hunter as Barb, Lane Webber as Lee, Khadijah Roberts-Abdullah as Zari, Amanda Cordner as Mel, and Emily Hampshire as Leanne.

Guest stars include actors Varun Saranga, Laura De Carteret, Donald MacLean Jr., Nadine Bhabha (who is also a writer on the series) and comedians Carolyn Taylor, Chris Locke and Chris Sandiford, plus a cameo from Japanese softball pitcher Ayami Sato, who made history as the first woman to play in a Canadian men’s professional baseball league.

TORONTO, ON (August 25, 2026) – The cast for the second season of the award-winning Crave Original HEATED RIVALRY continues to expand with Daniel Diemer (PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS, The Half of It) set to star as Ryan Price, and Shaheen Jafargholi (WAR, THE AGENCY, LOST BOYS AND FAIRIES) as Fabian Salah. The pair join Hudson Williams, Connor Storrie, Justice Smith, and Charlie Gillespie in leading roles for the upcoming season, scheduled to premiere in Spring 2027.
