TD

 	As a premiere sponsor, TD is providing a career launching investment of $100,000 to the winning designer.
 	The brand is integrated into various episodes through challenge sponsorships.
 	TD is also working with Bell Media Studios on a short-form series for PROJECT RUNWAY CANADA social channels, profiling 3 designers as they put together their final collections.

 	Renowned for its iconic “Le Défilé” show during Paris fashion week, L’Oréal Paris is a premiere sponsor and the official beauty partner of PROJECT RUNWAY CANADA.
 	Designers visit the L’Oréal Paris Glam Room before each runway showcase to collaborate with a team of L’Oréal Paris stylists to create hair and makeup looks to match their designs.
 	L’Oréal Paris is also a partner for a custom challenge within the show.

 	Cashmere bathroom tissue, Canada’s best-selling tissue brand, is the presenting partner for a custom challenge inspired by their brand.


 	Custom social media posts are also being created for PROJECT RUNWAY CANADA social channels, based on the Cashmere challenge.

Jeanne Beker came up with the perfect words for the competitors on PROJECT RUNWAY CANADA, and also for anyone else hoping to make it in the highly volatile fashion industry.

“You have to build a bit of a suit of armour around yourself,” Beker said.

Figuratively, it is assumed!

Nonetheless, every different genre of fashion imaginable will be on display on PROJECT RUNWAY CANADA, which premieres Friday, Nov. 14, only on Crave. Fashion media icon Beker is one of the judges, alongside Canadian supermodel Coco Rocha (who also hosts), and award-winning designer Spencer Badu, while industry visionary Aurora James is mentor to the competing designers.

“I've tried to maintain this my whole life, in that you try to be as sensitive as possible, because when you lose that, who are you? How are you communicating appropriately with people?” Beker said, when asked about her judging strategy. “Yet at the same time, you’ve got to be tough, especially to make it in fashion, which is such a fickle business, probably the most fickle business around. The only constant is change, and you've just got to be up to snuff. So hopefully, as we deal with these aspiring designers, we'll be able to do it in a way that will help them on their journey, even if they do get kicked off the show.”

When Beker said that, she chuckled, in a way that was both kind, and slightly intimidating. The competitors clearly will have to bring their best stuff, right from the start!

PROJECT RUNWAY CANADA is the new Canadian adaptation of the globally renowned fashion competition series. Over 10 episodes, 12 of the country’s most exciting designers will compete in a captivating series of challenges, with many surprises and twists along the way.

“If you’re a designer, and you say you’re good at what you do, then prove it to me – be good at what you do,” Rocha said. “I'll let you know if I don't think it's good, not from a perspective of, like, style wise, or if I think it’s pretty or not, but more just like, did you execute it? Is this actually worth manufacturing? Will people wear it? That's my style of thinking. I think Jeanne and I will be very similar in terms of, we both bring smiles to the room, but no funny business.”

Rocha pointed out, however, that because the three judges come from such different corners of the fashion industry, there obviously will be times when they disagree.

“We’re also doing this with Spencer (Badu), who is coming from another perspective, being that he's a young designer,” Rocha said. “He's up and coming, he self-taught for a few years, then he went into schooling. Jeanne comes from journalism, and I come from modeling. So I think it's great how we're going to all come with a different opinion. I'm going to talk about the perspective of, well, I have to wear this piece, so how do I feel about it? So I think it's kind of fantastic that we're not all designers, we're not all writers, we're not all models. There's that range that will really help.”

Both Rocha and Beker gave fascinating responses when asked about the current state of the Canadian fashion industry.

“Would I like to see it be much further along than it is now? Yeah, absolutely,” Beker said. “I think there are platforms now for Canadian designers that they didn't have before, with shows such as this, and in the social media world. When I started covering fashion, back in the 1980s, and even into the 1990s, they didn't really have a way of marketing themselves, and promoting themselves, so it was harder to make their voices heard. The quality has always been there. There’s still an incredible amount of talent in Canada. But the business is tougher than ever. Competition is just fierce.”

Rocha added, “I think a big thing is, the industry only moves depending on people's purse strings. So if you're buying, what are you buying? If you are really, really adamant that there should be better Canadian fashion out there, why are you buying something from maybe Europe or America? Well, maybe because it's trendy. But why isn't Canadian stuff more trendy? I just think there's a lot of talking, not so much just doing. And a lot of people think, well, it's our problem, the models and the designers. Like, we need to fix it. The designers and the models can't really fix it. We need to showcase our own stuff in Canada more, and people need to put their money where their mouth is.”

And perhaps with that goal in mind, PROJECT RUNWAY CANADA has a role to play at a key moment.

“Because of what's going on in the world right now economically, for better or worse, there's a new spirit of Canadian patriotism that's creeping into the fray, which is quite wonderful, really,” Beker said. “That's yet another reason why the timing for this show is so good.”

Any last-minute advice for the competing designers?

“Something that I always tell models to live by, but it also applies for designers, is, ‘don’t be a second-rate version of someone else,’” Rocha said. “Don’t copy something that works for someone else, and assume it’s going to work for you as well, because that’s already out there. So why don’t you just be you. As cliché and motherly as that sounds, it’s true.”

Beker added, “just have a point of view and stick to it. There's a lot of noise out there. You've got to dream, believe, don't be afraid, never give up.”

While New Year's Eve TV specials often tend to run late and cater mostly to adults, the enfants du lait are ringing out 2025 with a bang, earlier, by inviting the public to their family-friendly NYE “pestacle”. Viewers are invited to follow the kids through a whirlwind evening, filled to the brim with humour and imagination, true to the playful spirit of the iconic milk ads. Each scene will echo a standout moment from the past year, showcasing events that sparked discussions across Quebec. At long last, a New Year's Eve event for everyone, where all generations can celebrate and toast the year ahead, together.

TORONTO (November 6, 2025) – Crave is serving some major news for CANADA’S DRAG RACE fans today, revealing a star-studded lineup of guest judges, a sizzling new season trailer, and confirmation that the series is set to return for a seventh season. As was recently announced, CANADA’S DRAG RACE Season 6 premieres on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 9 p.m. ET on Crave, and launches simultaneously on World of Wonder’s SVOD platform WOW Presents Plus, in the U.S. and in 190 territories worldwide. 

Also confirmed today, Brooke Lynn Hytes and Traci Melchor are joined by special resident guest judges for Season 6: Emmy®-winning TV personality, style and fashion expert, and best-selling author, Carson Kressley; renowned choreographer and on-camera personality Hollywood Jade; and dancer, choreographer, activist, television host, and filmmaker, Sarain Fox.

The very first sound that can be heard in Season 2 of THE OFFICE MOVERS is ominous music, as if this were a dark thriller, or a tense spy drama.

It’s nighttime in a secluded area. Ricky (played by Lucas Lopez) nervously lights a cigarette. Even more nervously, Everett (Jae Richards) tells Ricky to put it out. Everett then explains to a dubious and confused Ricky exactly what he needs to remember, and what he needs to forget, about what they’re doing. Everett clearly has concocted some sort of plan that is shady at best.

Of course, the real fun of the scene is that anyone who is even remotely familiar with Season 1 of THE OFFICE MOVERS knows that it’s an outrageous comedy. So having built the framework in the first season, brothers and co-creators Jae and Trey Richards, who plays Eric, can now fiddle with many different elements – such as ominous music – in Season 2, which premieres Friday, Nov. 7 on Crave.

“We love our music cues, man,” Jae Richards said. “It just comes from years of creating YouTube videos, and we just realized how much music can transform something. Even in this case, when we’ve been editing the season for weeks on end, watching the same thing over and over again, but when we finally add a layer of music, it just changes the whole tone, the whole mood. It's like another layer of comedy you can play with as well.”

Season 2 of THE OFFICE MOVERS continues to follow the exploits of the Shazam moving company, which is trying to make ends meet in the Toronto area. Shazam exists in a world of day-to-day desperation, failed get-rich-quick schemes, cutthroat competition, and incompetent employees who are capable of everything from dangerous corner-cutting and petty backstabbing to fierce loyalty and lovable innocence.

If THE OFFICE MOVERS were merely a show about people who were bad at their jobs, it would get old pretty quickly. But Jae and Trey Richards have instead endeavoured to develop an ever-expanding character comedy.

“There’s less to explain in Season 2, so there’s more fun to have,” Trey Richards said. “And we also talked a lot about dynamic duos. We even started listing some of the shows and movies from our childhood, like, who are the two? Miranda and Lizzie McGuire (from the TV series LIZZIE McGUIRE). I mean, the dynamic duos were always just so powerful.”

Jae chimed in, “every combination of characters becomes a new character. It's crazy, now that we have so many characters, we can really start playing with these combinations. Like, Ricky and Doug (Danny Martinello) together are going to be completely different than Ricky and Eric together, or Ricky and Hassan (Hassan Phills) together, or Ricky and Everett together. Each duo has a totally different energy.”

And the real fun of establishing comedic cliques is that they lead to competitiveness.

“Even within the office moving world, it was just such a world within itself, that when two people started pairing up, then a third person may get a little jealous,” said Trey Richards, recalling the days when he and Jae worked for their dad as office movers. “It would be like, ‘yo, why are you guys having fun at work? They’re not supposed to be having fun here.’ And it's kind of that energy of, ‘what are you guys talking about?’ Frustration builds up, especially when whispers would leak that some people are getting paid a little bit more.”

Money is always a hot topic in THE OFFICE MOVERS, whether it’s Everett’s questionable deals to try to keep the business afloat, to the rank and file at Shazam growing suspicious of each other about who’s earning an extra buck per hour.

“A dollar raise is a miracle in this world,” Jae Richards confirmed.

Ultimately, Jae and Trey Richards want THE OFFICE MOVERS to be the kind of show that viewers can watch many times, and find something new to laugh at on each occasion.

“I do think that's a little bit of our sauce, that people can watch it again and say, ‘oh, I missed that,’” Trey Richards said. “For example, with the subtitles we use for some of the characters. You can watch the scene once, but then re-watch it and focus on reading the subtitles, and it’s a totally different scene. I think just being able to go back and pick up on these smaller things, like small background noises, just adds to it. They enhance the moment. You already know what's going on in the scene, but it actually makes for that little extra laugh. It's always worth it.”

So to sum it up, what do fans have to look forward to in Season 2 of THE OFFICE MOVERS?

“If you loved Season 1, you're going to love Season 2,” Jae Richards promised. “It's a natural evolution of what Season 1 was, and what we're trying to do. We get to know the characters a lot more. Everyone has grown. Everyone is more comfortable in their element, and in their characters. It's another level of meshing of the characters, and all the chaos woven together. More chaos, more stunts, more booms, more surprises.”

Cue the ominous music.

TORONTO (November 6, 2025) – Crave announced today that its award-winning, original comedy series THE OFFICE MOVERS is returning for a third season. The news comes as Season 2 drops tomorrow, with all six episodes available at once.

The series is distributed internationally by Sphere Abacus.

Created by and starring comedic writer-producer duo Jermaine “Jae” and Trevaunn “Trey” Richards, THE OFFICE MOVERS follows two brothers navigating Toronto’s commercial office moving industry, and features the trademark Toronto slang the Richards brothers are famous for. Season 2 also features special appearances by Jae and Trey’s longtime friend and collaborator, Drake.
