TORONTO (January 29, 2014) – On Wednesday, Feb. 5, CANADA AM cranks up the good-morning vibes with a live, in-studio performance by country rock stars Florida Georgia Line. CANADA AM helps duo Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard warm up their pipes with an up-close and personal interview about their meteoric rise to pop stardom, followed by a live performance from their platinum-selling debut album Here’s to the Good Times, including the #1 single Cruise.

Topping the charts in 2013, Kelley, who hails from Ormond Beach, Florida, and Monroe, Georgia native Hubbard emerged as country music’s biggest stars last year. The duo received the Country Music Association Duo of the Year, Academy of Country Music New Artist of the Year, and the American Music Award for the all-genre Single of the Year. Additionally, they garnered four consecutive multi-week #1 hits with Cruise, Get Your Shine On, Round Here, and Stay.

“We are delighted to present a live performance by Florida Georgia Line to guests in studio and viewers across the country,” said Lis Travers, Vice-President, CTV News, CANADA AM. “We invite Canadians to get the morning started with a little help from two of country music’s biggest stars.”

Kelley and Hubbard have caught the attention of country music’s most well-known artists, including Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean, and Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles. Their energetic style and memorable live shows also earned them coveted opening spots on two of country music’s biggest tours in 2013, Taylor Swift’s “Red Tour” and Luke Bryan’s “Dirt Road Diaries Tour.”
