MUST-WATCH FOR DECEMBER 21 – JANUARY 10

CTV: The all-new celebrity competition series THE MASKED DANCER debuts with a special premiere on Sunday, Dec. 27 at 8 p.m. ET, before moving to its regular Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET timeslot. THE MASKED DANCER features celebrity contestants performing dance routines while covered from head-to-toe in elaborate costumes and face masks, leaving viewers – and the panellists – to guess their identities. The costumed celebrities are joined on stage by masked partners, as well as back-up dancers, as they perform a series of dances together. The series is hosted by comedian Craig Robinson, and features panellists Ken Jeong – who also appears on THE MASKED SINGER – world-famous choreographer and singer Paula Abdul, actor Brian Austin Green, and actress and singer Ashley Tisdale.

CTV Comedy Channel: Hosted by stand-up comic Bert Kreischer and starring celebrity judges Snoop Dogg, Rosario Dawson, Jennifer Nettles, and “The American Nightmare” Cody, GO-BIG SHOW debuts Thursday, Jan. 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Featuring monster trucks, alligator and snake trainers, stunt archery, world record holders, and more, the competition series celebrates daring acts alongside personal, behind-the-scenes challenger stories as they battle head-to-head to impress the judges and advance toward the finale’s ultimate $100,000 prize.

CTV Drama Channel: Viewers can check in to Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital for a follow-up appointment as THE COMPLETE HOUSE MARATHON continues to unravel more medical puzzles, thanks to infectious disease specialist Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie, VEEP) and his team of young diagnosticians. The marathon continues with the series’ second season on Monday, Dec. 21 at 5 p.m. ET.

CTV Life Channel: The investigation continues as forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan (Emily Deschanel, ANIMAL KINGDOM) and cocky F.B.I. Special Agent Seeley Booth (ANGEL) work to solve intriguing murders in THE COMPLETE BONES MARATHON. Viewers can wrap up Season 2 and move on to Season 3 on Monday, Dec. 21 beginning at 6 a.m. ET.

CTV Sci-Fi Channel’s festive DOCTOR WHO: REVOLUTION OF THE DALEKS special premieres Friday, Jan. 1 at 8 p.m. ET. Captain Jack (John Barrowman MBE, ARROW) returns to help ‘the fam’ as they discover a disturbing plan forming involving one of the Doctor’s most feared and dangerous enemies, the Daleks. With the Thirteenth Doctor (Jodie Whittaker, BROADCHURCH) locked away in a space prison, will Captain Jack be able to help save planet Earth?

CTV Movies: Sci-fi film CHAPPIE joins CTV Movies on Thursday, Dec. 31. Every child comes into the world full of promise, and none more so than Chappie; like any child, Chappie will come under the influence of his surroundings – some good, some bad – and he will rely on his heart and soul to find his way in the world. But there’s one thing that makes Chappie different from anyone else: he is a robot – the first with the ability to think and feel for himself. His life and story will change the way the world looks at robots and humans forever.

CTV.ca/CTV App Exclusives: LGBTQ+ holiday rom-com DASHING IN DECEMBER is streaming on CTV’s Holiday Hub, available on the all-new CTV.ca and the CTV App. The festive film follows Wyatt (Peter Porte, BABY DADDY), a New York City financier who returns home to Colorado for the holidays in an effort to convince his mother, Deb (Andie MacDowell, Groundhog Day), to sell the family’s ranch and beloved magical Winter Wonderland attraction. In the midst of his mission, an unexpected romance ignites with the new ranch hand, Heath (Juan Pablo Di Pace, FULLER HOUSE), reawakening the spirit of Christmas.
