TRANSPLANT become the most-watched Canadian drama, the series has also been embraced by U.S. viewers since its launch on Sept. 1 on NBC. Currently averaging 5.2 million total viewers per episode,
TRANSPLANT is the most-watched scripted series (comedy or drama) on broadcast television in the U.S.
In an article in
The Wrap, writer Tony Maglio points to strong delayed-viewing lifts for the series, which has seen the largest three-day increases across broadcast and cable for the five weeks that Nielsen numbers are available. Additionally, when looking at L+7 (live plus seven days) data for the first four episodes,
TRANSPLANT is among the Top 10 entertainment series overall on broadcast TV.
Nielsen data also confirms that the Oct. 6 episode delivered the biggest viewership lift yet with an additional 2.065 million viewers, as
TRANSPLANT continues to see weekly L+7 growth across its first five episodes.
