TORONTO (July 18, 2019) – Following its premiere on July 2, CTV confirmed today that THE AMAZING RACE CANADA returned for Season 7 as the most-watched entertainment series broadcast so far this summer with total viewers and all key demos. With final data now available from Numeris, 2 million viewers watched the season premiere, up 15% over the Season 6 premiere – marking the first time in almost two years that a Canadian series has hit the 2 million mark. The first episode of the season also saw growth in the key demos, up double-digits in the A18-34 (+29%), A18-49 (+18%), and A25-54 (+18%) demos.
On the next episode of THE AMAZING RACE CANADA, “I Love Geologists” (Tuesday, July 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, and streaming anytime on CTV.ca and the CTV app), teams fly to Yellowknife, where a diamond Road Block has racers under pressure, before things take a chilling turn.
