TORONTO (August 13, 2013) Bell Media’s The Movie Network Encore is paying homage to 50 years of Bond this September with action-packed James Bond films spanning seven decades. Kicking off with the very first DR. NO (1962), TMN Encore airs fan-favourite 007 films, complete with blood-pumping plot twists, cut-throat villains, and beloved Bond girls, which complement the premiere of most recent film, SKYFALL (2012), on Monday, Sept. 2 at 9 p.m. ET on The Movie Network.

The 50 Years of Bond marathon begins on Sunday, Sept. 1 at 6 a.m. ET, when for two days straight, Bond movies will air back-to-back in chronological order on TMN Encore.

After the two-day Bond extravaganza, each film will air again on weeknights at 9 p.m. ET for the duration of the month on TMN Encore. Weeknight Bond films start with DR. NO (1962) on Tuesday, Sept. 3 and end with CASINO ROYALE (2006) on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Fifty Years of Bond will be available as a collection on TMN GO starting Wednesday, September 4. Films will be available in High Definition, on The Movie Network OnDemand and The Movie Network OnLine.

In addition to celebrating 007, The Movie Network Encore is home to a host of other hit Hollywood films on Saturday and Sunday nights this fall, including BEVERLY HILLS COP, CLOVERFIELD, CASINO and THE 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN.
