TORONTO (December 18, 2023) – CTV confirmed today initial midseason premiere dates, providing a consistently strong lineup every night of the week, featuring returning scripted programming, gripping new series, and celebrated CTV Originals.
Headlining CTV’s winter 2024 schedule is an array of established hits and new scripted series, including:
- Court returns to session in Season 2 of NIGHT COURT, starring THE BIG BANG THEORY’s Melissa Rauch and multi Emmy Award-winner John Larroquette, airing Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT, beginning Jan. 2
- CTV delivers the Canadian television debut of ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING, starring Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez, airing three episodes of the first season nightly on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT, beginning Jan. 2
- MAGNUM P.I. returns with its final two episodes Jan. 3 at 9 p.m. ET/PT
- Canadian Screen Award-winning CTV Original TRANSPLANT returns Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT beginning Jan. 5 with its final three episodes, culminating with the series finale on Jan. 19
- Time-travelling sci-fi drama LA BREA returns for its third and final season Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT, beginning Jan. 9 on CTV2
- As previously announced, new CTV Original, 10-part crime-drama SIGHT UNSEEN, starring newcomer Dolly Lewis alongside Agam Darshi (DMZ), Jarod Joseph (THE 100), and Daniel Gillies (VIRGIN RIVER) debuts with a special preview Sunday, Jan. 21 at 10 p.m. ET/PT following the NFL Divisional game, before settling into its regular timeslot, Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, beginning Jan. 22
- Fan favourite comedies THE CONNERS returns Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT for its sixth season; followed by Season 2 of NOT DEAD YET at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, beginning Feb. 7 – with Emmy® award-winning actor Brad Garrett joining the cast
- TRACKER, starring and executive produced by Justin Hartley (THIS IS US), premieres in the highly coveted post-SUPER BOWL timeslot, Sunday, Feb. 11 at approximately 10 p.m. ET/PT, before settling into its regular Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT timeslot
- Can’t-miss final seasons of fan-favourites BOB HEARTS ABISHOLA (Mondays at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT, beginning Feb. 12), YOUNG SHELDON (Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT, beginning Feb. 15), STATION 19 (Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, beginning March 14), and Part 1 of the final season of BLUE BLOODS (Fridays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, beginning Feb. 16) air this winter
- Tuesday’s lineup sees the return of last season’s #1 new series WILL TRENT at 8 p.m. ET/PT, followed by a new season of THE ROOKIE with Nathan Fillion at 9 p.m. ET/PT, and hit medical drama THE GOOD DOCTOR in its new Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT timeslot, all beginning Feb. 20
- Thrilling crime drama THE CLEANING LADY (Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV2, beginning March 5) returns for a new season
- Beloved iconic medical drama GREY’S ANATOMY returns for its milestone twentieth season, Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT, beginning March 14
CTV’s most-watched primetime schedule is further solidified with new and celebrated unscripted programs, including:
- Similar to a fantasy sports draft, AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: FANTASY LEAGUE puts a spin on the AGT franchise pitting judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Mel B against each other to determine who can put together the best line-up of returning fan-favourite AGT acts from around the world. The new series airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT, beginning Jan. 1.
- CELEBRITY JEOPARDY! returns with four all-new episodes of its current second season beginning Tuesday, Jan. 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT
- The CTV Original pop culture quiz show, BATTLE OF THE GENERATIONS, returns with all-new episodes in January
- Chefs Gordon Ramsay, Gino D’Acampo, and Fred Sirieix head out on another adventure in the all-new special, GORDON RAMSAY’S ROAD TRIP: SPANISH VACATION, with Part 1 airing Thursday, Jan. 11 and Part 2 airing Thursday, Jan. 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV; Plus, Ramsay’s epic culinary gauntlet NEXT LEVEL CHEF returns for Season 3 with a special preview Jan. 28 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, before settling into its regular 8 p.m. ET/PT timeslot, beginning Feb. 1.
- THE VOICE begins its 25th season Monday, Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV2, with episodes airing Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV2 throughout the season. First-time coaches Dan + Shay join Reba McEntire, John Legend, and Chance the Rapper.
- THE MASKED SINGER returns with an all-new cast of secret celebrities waiting to be unmasked. The Emmy® award-winning competition, hosted by Nick Cannon alongside panelists Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, and Robin Thicke, airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT, beginning March 6.
- Racers take to the starting line for their chance at the 1 million prize as Season 36 of THE AMAZING RACE kicks off with 90-minute episodes Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, beginning March 13
- New episodes of Canada’s most-watched investigative series, W5, hosted by Avery Haines, continue in its regular timeslot, Saturdays at 7 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, beginning Jan. 27
